Franklin Fizzlybear may look like a big fierce Fizzlybear, but he's really a gentle giant, and, on top of that, he’s Piñata Island’s most accomplished surfer. He's also a terrible liar, and an even worse dancer! Franklin is gung-ho for parties - and thinks that being a piñata is the best thing anyone could be. Always up for an adventure, the world is one big wonder-filled playground for Franklin, and he's going to see and do it all!

Paulie Pretztail is a main character in the Viva Piñata TV series. He's a fox piñata, commonly known as a pretztail.

He is a Dragon who is friendly. He gives gifts to everyone and he eats clouds as food and to give more gifts. In the spinoff show, he acts like any child does.

“King George, a larger-than-life beaver with a jovial personality to match, is the leader of the pond and king of the mammals. Although he didn't set out to be King, he embraces the role with enthusiasm every day and created some rules to help everyone in the pond get along: Pond Rules! Undeniably optimistic and kind, George is a beaver who loves: leading group aerobics, learning everyone's names, working together in harmony and, of course, wood. A lifelong bachelor, he's married to his job–and while anxiety and imposter syndrome have taken a toll on his hairline, there's nothing else he'd rather be doing. When conflicts arise in his community, George just points to his Pond Rules: "We're all in this together!"”

Midbus is the secondary antagonist in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake. He is a brawny, unintelligent, pig/armadillo-like creature that acts as Fawful's chief minion. Midbus fights Bowser three times during the course of the game (the third time as Blizzard Midbus, his powered-up form); the final fight is the only one where Mario and Luigi assist in the battle.

A carefree, optimistic and cheerful dragon. Famous for his sweet tooth, this clumsy reptile is rarely seen without a biscuit in his hand - or a doughnut on the end of his tail!
