She was born on June 16, 1983, in Moscow. Her parents divorced when she was young. Her mother, Olga Mikhailovna, raised her daughter alone, struggling to balance school and work, and so she spent most of her childhood in a 24-hour kindergarten. Anastasia was interested in performing even in her youth, performing at the "Theater on the Outskirts" studio in the Zagorje Community Center.

In 2004, she graduated from the B.V. Shchukin Theatre Institute (course of Evgeny Vladimirovich Knyazev). From 2004 to 2007, she was an actress at the Vladimir Mayakovsky Theatre.

In 2010, the television series "There Was Love," based on Valeria's autobiographical book, premiered. The singer personally participated in the casting and approved Anastasia for the lead role. According to Valeria, she bears some resemblance to her. However, the creators weren't looking for a physical resemblance—it was far more important that the actress convey the character's inner state.
