Mr. Puzzles is the former third archenemy of the SMG4 Crew and the former second arch-nemesis of Meggy Spletzer, SMG4 and Mario as well as the former arch-rival of SMG3, particularly also being the frenemy of Mr. WPNZ as well as the boss of both Toomp and his own Leggy. He is a powerful human-TV hybrid and the manipulative, charismatic, narcissistic and insane founder of the streaming service Puzzlevision, who wishes to achieve complete perfection in his shows by brainwashing the whole world into being characters in it. Mr. Puzzles torments and manipulates the SMG4 Crew into several sadistic adventures to create content, and uses them as the main cast for his streaming service, which tragically resulted in the destruction of Peach's Castle with Princess Peach turning into an unhinged beast, the death of One-Shot Wren and Meggy's enduring unhealed PTSD, and the betrayal of Marty who's now seeking vengeance on Mario, ultimately being responsible for forever changing the lives of the SMG4 gang. Years after the SMG4 series ended, while he and Mr. WPNZ banished themselves to close a temporal anomaly from within for their actions, having integrated himself to life in his new home dimension, Mr. Puzzles embarks on an adventure to discover who he truly is deep down.

The king of Hell. Lucifer as a character is such an intriguing mystery, parts threatening and yet potentially like his daughter in equal measure. PARANOiD DJ interprets him as less than a positive endorsement of Charlie's redemption idea. He is someone who knows something about redemption and Heaven that she doesn't. Lucifer hates Extermination day not out of sympathy, but because Heaven is imposing its order on Hell, and he wants to see the Exterminators for himself. Lucifer orders Lilith to stay inside for her safety, then leaves, confident that the Exterminators have never faced someone like him before.
