At first, Rosie idolised Thomas to the point that she would try to imitate him. This only served to irritate Thomas whilst he was trying to deliver a special birthday post train to Alice at High Farm. He initially tried to avoid her, but after having an accident while delivering the train, Rosie helped him and they have since become friends.
